The black one is a Fiat 147. It was (and still is) quite popular here.

By the looks, it was a racecar. It has an antiroll bar and the driver's name on the door.

Oh yes, the 147, my dad had one of those while I was growing up in Brazil, it was white, and the wheel hub fell off one day. Good times.

It IS a racecar. It still racing today, in a series called Copa Classic RS (Rio Grande do Sul) - heres a link to am article that show some specs (in portuguese)
